Community Mural Project

The Community Mural Project at Palisades combines the resources of the Palisades Community Foundation, the talents of the Palisades School District art teachers and students, and mural artist Jon Laidacker. This project was created in an effort to build community through visual art. The first of five murals was created and installed at Palisades High School. All schools in the Palisades School District will receive a mural with funding from the Palisades Community Foundation. Participants involved numbered in the hundreds, their combined endeavors made this work of art possible. Future arts projects will revolve around music, theater and dance.
